I got a mail from Xulon that my book which they printed over a year ago is now a non-returnable material. The e-mail literally destabilized me and messed up my day. I am very upset with Xulon press and her management.
I am not pleased with Zulon Press and her associates because of the way and manner they have handled the publishing of my book (TRADING WITH YOUR TALENTS). The situation has been like this since the inception of the contract.

I accepted to do business with Zulon on the simple terms of PRINT, MARKET, SALE AND GIVE ROYALTY TO ME. The book was printed by Zulon in a hurry. I was given ONE OPTION about the design of the cover of the book to either accept it that way or pay extra money for a change of design. I had no such money to waste.
So, I had to accept the present dull cover of the book. When the book came out much later than the time agreed, it had no BLURB (about the book). Also, there was no write-up about the author. Both of these write-ups were sent along side with the book content. The book was wrongly published with no blurb or brief information about the book on the back cover. Meanwhile, I had already paid fully for the publishing, marketing and sales of the book.
It is about one year now Zulon has not yet given me update on the sales made so far. No financial returns; my telephone and verbal complaints are treated with disdain. Meanwhile, several promotional gimmicks are sent to me every now and then. They want extra money from me; one of such drives of extortion is the mail you sent which I'm now replying.

I am a missionary in Nigeria, Africa, struggling to survive with my family of six. It cost me almost everything I had as at then to pay for the publishing of that book.

I was not told that my book will be slammed with a non-returnable status. What is non-returnable got to do with my original contract with Xulon. Now, they are asking me to pay $399.50 to cancell the non-returnable status. That is obviously an unfair treatment to me. Where do I get such money to pay. Why would I keep paying for what I have not even gained a dime from?

Xulon must abide by the contract I signed with them and nothing else.
