keep getting calls from places like "American Money Cooperation" and "Mega Millions Lottery" saying my 95 year old father has won millions. They won't give me information such as their address, website, or phone number to call to verify this. One idiot said the money was coming via FedEx and that FBI and CIA agents would accompany the driver so I could verify it was for real. When I asked for a phone number to verify his company, he gave me a number. I told him that I would call him back at that number. I also asked for the name of the FBI and CIA agents' offices so I could verify who they were. He told me that they don't give out their numbers because they're secret. I laughed and said I could find numbers for both in the phone book. So I called the number he gave me and a woman answered. When I asked for the man, she said to call back that night; he would be "home" then! I checked the area code and it was in Jamaica!!!! Another man with a heavy Jamaican accent called back that night. He said they are based in Las Vegas, NV. When I pressed him for a phone number and address of the company, he kept sayig his "secretary" was getting it for me. I questioned him as to why he didn't know his own company's name. He finally hung up on me. Today someone called at 6:30am from "American Money Cooperation". Wouldn't answer my questions and finally hung up on me. This is crazy. Who do I report this to? I don't want to change our number as my father has had it for almost 50 years. HELP!!!
