I applied for a personal loan online. I was told in Good Faith I needed to buy a green dot money pak card and put $220.00 on it and a 2nd. Additional card with $160.00 on it. Ryan (The Loan Agent) said that at NO time would it be removed they just needed to verify in "Good Faith" that I could make my monthly installments in the future. I have him recorded giving me this information. When the money disappeared he said the IRS took it...but his company would reimburse my funds within an hour into my Bank Account. He did not reimburse my account, and today he say's he FEDex the money and gave me a tracking number of AM-568-7492-10 which is not a valid tracking number! His Number is (209) 257-3220 EXT 118 and now he is not even returning my phone calls. All conversations were recorded, I am trying to find out the account and additional Business Information. I have also filed a fraud complaint to Greendot.

- Unfortunately your site will not allow video...I have (4) Video Recordings of this Transaction but am unable to upload to this site! As soon as I filed a complaint of FRAUD with Green Dot, they finally returned my call informing me that they could FEDEX my money if I paid ahead $130.00. When the money was supposed to be put in my Bank Account yesterday. I feel I need to post their Info again so nobody else falls for this SCAM as a REAL Loan Company (209) 257-3220 EXT:118 and EXT:121 the (2) people calling themselves Ryan and Sam Taylor Doing Business as "American Finance" Personal Loans!

- Michael Sinclair is the new name, and I can't remember the other. Still is listed as American Finance, I swear i didn't delete the email but I don't have it anymore? I was working with another loan company of a similar name and got confused, lost $200 to them with GreenDot. They asked for a 2nd payment, to confirm I could make payments. I became leery so I tried to cancel it and they said they couldn't. I even asked hypothetically if I couldn't afford to get a 2nd card right then what would happen? I'd fail to make "payments" so I shouldn't qualify for the loan. After asking why it couldn't be cancelled repeatedly I was hung up on. The number is now (714)464-6422. I too reported it to GreenDot immediately and they put a hold on that payment within a hour, I hopefully will be getting it back.
