I was called about entering a sweepstakes and gave them my information. I thought they might have my information because they knew what kind of card I use (MC). So I went ahead with the sweepstakes, and all this other stuff like a diamond watch that was promised to me (which I never received). I did agree to purchase magazines at the time but my card number changed shortly thereafter and now I'm getting harassing phone calls and written letters about resolving the account. The thing is, it's a pretty simple fix. I'm not paying for magazines I never got, Periodicals is not sending the magazines that I am not paying for.
