I bought a 3800lb lift from American Marine in White Lake MI. The lift has a 24 volt solar charging system for the 2 deep cycle batteries to power the lift. The solar charger does not charge the batteries. I have sent back to American Marine and Hewitt, and both say the solar charging system works. I started complaining before warrenty was over. Now 2 years have gone by and the solar charging systems has never worked. It was $475 for solar panel, $84 for 24volt converter, 169.99 for 2 deep cycle batteries. I want my money back, this stuff is junk. I will buy an aftermarket system for about $150. Hewitt and American Marine suck. They have done nothing to help me except look at me like I am crazy hoping I will go away.
