I signed up with my credit card to bid on an electric cigarette that would cost $49.99 if I were to "Buy It Now". They took about $70 right away. I thought it was just to make sure that I was a legitimate buyer. The bids were increasing one penny at a time. So, I bid until my bid would no longer post, then I lost the bid.
I thought, "Oh well, glitch in the system wouldn't let me bid". So, I bought it anyway. I didn't realize until after I wrote to customer service and "Adam" responded, that I was charged $.60 a bid, plus $21 more for the product.
So, grand total, I spent $70 + $21 = $91, for a $49.99 electric cigarette.
If you can get my money back, I would deeply appreciate it.
I can believe that I fell into this trap.

  • Hi, I was able to trace your ticket and see that your issue has been well taken care of and the issue resolved to your satisfaction. Kindly let us know if that is not the case. Just to clarify, we are very clear in our purchase page that the payment would be made upfront.
