On May 30, 2012, I placed an online order with Extended Lengths Beauty Supply. Any order over $50.00 must be signed for. I signed for the package and after I opened it, I realized that I was "shorted" by one item-a bottle of Wella Koleston Perfect Creme Developer, worth $19.99. After emailing them, they told me they would check with their shipping dept. and get back to me. Well, they said that since I had signed for the package, I received all the items. They have refused to listen to me or even have the courtesy of being able to talk to me on the phone. I tried filing a complaint with the BBB, but since they didn't respond to BBB, the BBB closed the case. Signing for a package is just that, I do not say that I didn't receive a package-just that I did not receive the full order. And the BBB said that's what I get for not dealing with a company registered with them! At this point, it is the principle of the matter-I think this is a very easy way to "rip" people off by signing for packages that are not fulfilled. No company should be allowed to get away with this type of business practice.
