Request for a Birth Cert. Form on line after phoning Qld. Births Deaths & Marriages Registry Ph No 1300 366 430. Voice recording said to go to www.justice.qld.gov.au/bdm which I did. Up came [email protected] telling me I had to pay $34.96 to down load the Birth Certificate Form I needed. Completed Form sent to Brisbane yesterday 11/9/12. Received a phone call today from Qld. Gov. Birth Deaths & Marriages asking WHY I had sent a receipt of payment to this Provider when you can down load the Forms for free. It appears that this Provided has attached itself to a Qld. Gov. Webb Site which makes me angry that I have given my Credit Card Details to this Provider. I rang this Provider phone number 1-800-152-187 complaining that I should not of paid to Down Load the said Form. Also ask for a Refund of my money. I was told I had to wait 2-7 days for accounting to process and then 30-60 Business Days for the credit. Nowhere is this mentioned before Down Loading of any Forms. My biggest disappointment is this Provider has attached itself to a Qld Gov. Webb Site and I have been taken in.
