While visiting Turkey in June 2012,I bought what I thought was a Zulatnite which is a natural gem only found in Turkey from Mr Mustafa Aksoy ,Jeweller,after I left turkey to visit friends in france we discovered looking on the internet that what he had sold me was an Alexite which is a piece of manufactured glass with minerals inserted to give it colour changes,it is manufactured in India and is only worth a few dollars,I contacted mr Aksoy via the internet and he assured me that he was not aware the stone was not a Zultanite and that it was given to him by his supplier!and that he would send me a Zultanite,he did send it but it was of such poor quality with no colour changes and no chattoyancy,my jeweller here in Hobart told me it was not of commercial quality,the certificate of authenticity which should have come with the stone never arrived!I sent the stone back to him via recorded mail.Then I decided to buy the Alexite ring and to ask him to send the difference to me,he offered to send me back $500/US Dollars I would still be paying far too much for the ring but I thought it was better than nothing,I asked him to send it via a bank check he told me he could not do this and wanted my bank coordinates,my bank advised me against it because I did not trust him and told me he could obtain a bank check from any bank in Turkey,he then offered to send me the money in an envelope recorded mail!! I refused and told him the money would get stolen if send that way,I have not heard from him since my Email remain unanswered,I believe he does not want to refund me the money and is playing games.I thank you for your attention.
