I admit I was looking for a payday loan. I received one from paydayone.com no problems other than ridiculous fees & interest. I never applied to Palm Loans yet they got a hold of my account # and issued a fake check with all my info on it as if I wrote the check for $30. I never agreed to this nor would I choose to pay 30$ when I'm looking for a loan because I am broke! I had 7$ in my account when it hit and luckily I caught it before the bank began charging me for being in the negative $23. I called this damn company numerous times for a refund and they will not budge. They said the 30$ would apply to payment of a loan. Yet I don't want a loan anymore! Way too many problems and fees. They promised to send me 100$ gas voucher. Now why in the world would you send $100 gas voucher but not just refund my 30$? I've asked to speak to their supervisors and they put me on hold for 15 minutes and I can't wait that long and hang up. This company is bogus and a scam. They themselves are not even the actual lender. They told me I was pre-qualified to receive a loan and to verify my info and they would apply the 30$ to it. I was so upset about my account being negative and not having money so I verified my information to receive the loan and they said I don't qualify. What a bunch of BS! They still will not refund my 30$. I wish there was someone else to contact they shouldn't be able to do this to people. It shouldn't cost you money to apply for a loan. I know you end up paying for a loan but not til your payment is due after receiving it. I'm so fed up with these people and their annoying foreign accents and their fake " I understand" and "just be patient". They said they'd send the gas voucher within hours I should've received it and its been 3days and still nothing. Do not be fooled by these damn companies. Do not fill out your info if your redirected to other sites. You wouldn't believe how many phones calls to my cell and my job I received, not to mention emails and text messages.
