On my Rogers bill were a charges:

May 04 VoxTel Voxtel mobSHACK 18889852233 18889852233 1 9.99
May 11 VoxTel Voxtel mobSHACK 18889852233 18889852233 1 9.99
Total of Third Party & Other Rogers Charges: 19.98

Rogers can not tell me whom they have chosen to do business with and allowed to charge my cellular phone bill. I have call the 1888985223 associated with the charges only to be able to listen to a French recorded message. Talking to Rogers about it is a total waste of time as well. There are many complaints all over the internet about the company associated with the above phone number, who apparently randomly has been allowed by Rogers to charge their customers what ever like and there is nothing Rogers customers can do about it, except complain. REALLY ROGERS REALLY REALLY... ARE YOU SERIOUS? WTF!

Rogers Hi Dominic, sorry to hear that. We’re the only Canadian carrier to offer several other ways to manage premium SMS services like blocking all premium messages, send notifications or give detailed information on third party premium text message services on your bill. In this case, you'd have to get a hold of that thir-party. @RogersNicolas


Dominic Brear so I do not know how any of that will help me.... unless that will prevent Rogers allowing other sleazy companies that feel like it to make charges on my cell phone bill....


Dominic Brear So i just discovered by time consuming internet search that VoxTel no longer has mobSHACK as a customer and will refund all charges to complaining customers. The number you need to call is 1.800.985.2570. Thanks for nothing Rogers. I do will be certain to never trust you again to keep me save from sleazy businesses in the future.
