I posted an ad for a lincoln continental on Craig's List. I recieved a response stating: "I want to test/drive your 2001 Lincoln Town Car Cartier, where I need to come? I will pay with cash." The email was from [email protected], but when I replied, the email target was [email protected]. Not sure what's going down here, but its not right. I did NOT reply to the email.

- I saw the same thing, got suspicious, and Googled [email protected] and found your complaint. In my case, the "from" address is [email protected], and the reply-to address is [email protected]. I have a craigslist ad posted in Portland, Oregon for a 1988 Honda Accord. I also got the same text "I want to test/drive your 1988 Honda Accord LX 204k 30 MPG blue, mechanically mint - $2200 (Gresham / Boring / Damascus), where I need to come? I will pay with cash."

- I got one as well for my truck listed on Craigslist in Pasadena MD..def a scam of of some sort! SHould report to Google...But I'm sure he/she will just create a new email. Verbage is identical, so they are doing copy and paste...they are copying the subject line for the listing and then doing copy and Paste for the broken english Where I need to come??? Probably Nigerian Scam of some sort.

- Ditto - for me also. They replied to my Craigslist add for a car up for sale in Brooklyn, NY and got the same message from a [email protected]. I just posted last night. This is obviously a scam. I regrettably replied with my cell#. I'll report it to CL.
