Today I found that there was an $89.95 deduction from my bank account made by Anana llc. I too fell for the free sample for $2.95 shipping offer.
After reading all the similar complaints in this website, I frankly became livid and called their contact number. I spoke with their cs "Margaret", to her credit, she managed to remain civil and told me that she was placing an immediate 40% refund because once the box is opened they cannot give a full refund; mind you, I haven't used the product yet but I had thrown away the box. She told me that the refund would be credited in 4-5 days, I told her that "immediate" refund should mean exactly that and that I would check next Monday to make sure. She also told me to call by December 21 to report if I had received the refund and that until then my account had to stay open. Needless to say, I told her that I expected my account to be closed "immediately" and that not only that I would ask my bank not to make any payments to Anana and that I was also going to report the company to the better business bureau. I will update once I receive my refund.
