I'm such a fool. I DID see that there was a recurring charge. I DID read the Terms to see how to cancel, figuring to do so sooner rather than later. What happened was that they require a verification response from your email address and they never sent me the email. I hit Re-send Email several times. Nothing. So now they have my money, my credit card info, and I can't bid on anything or use the site anyway. Now I notice the typos, the hype; should have known it was too-good-to-be-true. Cancelled immediately, but they have my money. Thought I could save a lot and it could be worth it - but it's not.
This appears to be a copycat site. Now that I've investigated a bit more, it turns out that DealDay.com has used the exact same video and "endorsements" to promote itself as are on QuiBids.com, except for removing the parts where QuiBids was mentioned by name in the news spot. THe difference? QuiBids is accredited by the BBB.
