They posted an ad on Gumtree saying they had 2 bengal kittens which needed rehoming ads their daughter had died. I said I would come and collect but they said they had moved to scotland and they would courier them to us using this service. They said I would just need to pay the delivery charge of £140 plus admin fee. The animals never arrived when they said they would and they then tried to charge me another £520 for insurance. I got wise to them and told them no, they tried reducing the rate and when i flat out said they would have no more money they stopped contact but not before they had said that I would be charged with animal abandonment and that the kittens were in a bad way having been at the airport so long. They sent me photos of the kittens and pictures of a family to try to get me to send more money. It's just sick.
