I received a telephone call on 12/5/12. I was told that I had been approved for a loan. Mr. Sean Martin asked me how much money I needed. My answer was $3000. He asked why I didn't get $5000. I responded alright then. He explained that I needed to get a Greendot moneypak for $229 and then call him back with the voucher number. I called him back around 3pm and gave him the voucher number. His manager then came on the phone and told me he would check the voucher and call me back in 45 minutes. He never called me back on Wednesday, 12/5/12. So on 12/6/12 I called the number (213/537-3196) that Mr. Martin had given to me the day before. He told me that my voucher number had gotten stuck in their system; that I needed to get another voucher for the same amount and call him with the number. As soon as I called in the new voucher number they would transfer the $5000 into my account and it would include the money on the 2 vouchers. I told him no I couldn't afford another voucher because I had used all my money for the one I gave him. He told me his job was in danger if I didn't get another voucher. I told him my life was in danger because I didn't have anymore money. We argued back and forth and he finally put his manager on the phone. He told me the same thing. I told him I couldn't do that. So he told me he would fix it and the funds would be transferred. On 12/7/12 I checked my checking account and there was no funds deposited. I called the company and spoke to Sean again. He started telling me again to send another moneypak for $230 and he gave his word and promised that the funds would be transferred into my account within an hour after I gave him the new number. I told him about the 81 complaints that I had read. He tried to make all kind of excuses. He told me to think positive. I started agreeing with him just to make him think I was going to get the new voucher. After hanging up from the conversation, I immediately came to the website and filed my complaint.
