This 1st company recruited me by phone this past July to work in merchant services. They said they work with visa & mastercard; and I qualify to work with them because I had good standing accounts with both. I then had to purchase the merchant services training kit for an initial cost of $490.00. This kit was to provided me an: "agent business license", a web page and business cards.
The next company now steps into the picture; they told me how I could make all this money selling credit card terminals and even small business loans. They would sell me leads to small business, to help these companies with lower interest rate loans and lower terminal costs for the use of debit / credit cards. Another company - Universal Marketing & Training - would work the leads for me and sign them up; and I was to get a commission from the sales of these signed customers. The contact people were great sales men: Daniel King Senior Vice President Jeff Jones, Jack Ryan, Clint Smith, Ashley Nelson, and many others - or just names -; they would do all the campaigning and I would get $500.00 for each terminal sold plus 1% of the processing fees of all in operation for 5 years; and 2% of loans sold. I then was sold on giving them money from my Visa & MasterCard accounts to purchase these leads to the small businesses.
I was stupid and fell for this. I was assured my invested money would be paid back in full plus at least a 55% profit; that I could finish paying off my credit card balances, or purchase more leads and start over.
They sent me an agent number and a web site to log in to check in on commissions being made. It all seemed so real. I didn't realize that they had taken me for all that money. I have a business license - agent number -; is that real??? They would post the leads on MY web site; are they for real??? They stopped posting leads since 10/25/12; and ALL 3 COMPANIES have fallen off the map - their phones are not working, no one is responding to emails, and the Agent WebSite has not been updated over a month.
I have phone numbers and names if anyone needs them to find these creeps. Am I going to be able to get any money back???
