Chris Ortega claimed to find my profile on Facebook and started emailing me. After about two weeks he claimed to be in love with me, he was a Marine Engineer that worked and lived in the United Kingdom but also had a home in Dublin, Ireland. His wife died 5 years ago and has a daughter named Sofia, 10. After talking for a month he was leaving on his ship for Russia, we could still email and call one another. He wrote some of the most eloquent emails or love letters I had ever seen. He promised to come to America December the 2 nd and spend 7 days with me. He also sent a copy of the airline ticket. After at sea for about 2 weeks, I get an urgent email that his ship was going to be attacked and the captain told everyone to get rid of their personal belongs. He said he got off his ship in Malaysia and sent me a box with a picture of his daughter, a contract and $1,125,000.00 pounds and to keep it safe for him until he comes to America. He said he paid $8,000.00 to ship it but would have to go back the next day to pay the additional fees. His ship left and he called me to ask if I would send the money to the courier service since he could not. He sent me the information and I looked the company up and it appeared to be a legal company. Well the bank account was incorrect and my bank had already wired the $4000.00. When he told me the account was incorrect I went back to my bank and re-sent another $4000.00 to the correct account. Once the bank in Malaysia had gotten notice that the money was there it took two days for me to be notified that the box was not at customs being held. I got a fradulent document from Customs stating that it would cost $27,000.00 for me to get the box. Sent the email to Chris Ortega and he was upset. He claimed to call them but couldn't get any straight answers. Once he got to Russia he tried to complete his deal with the hope that I would send him at least $2,000.000.00. I would not and told him to get to Malaysia. The bottom line here is that Chris Ortega and Christy Ortega are a team, she poses as his daughter, he said he was being charged with money laundering in Malaysia and needed my help. I started to do some checking because I have traveled the world and none of htis sounded real. You would not be walking the streets if you was being charged with money laundering. He said he was going to court and when he did he lost the case and they kept his box with all his money. He played on my emotions because I did start to care deeply for him. Finally, when I confronted him with the fact that I called Island Shipping, they told me they are tired of American women calling about a Chris Ortega. He doesn't work there and never has. He was offended, that I didn't believe in him and didn't trust him, knowing that he loved me very much. A week after that I got an email that stated he was very tired and couldn't handle this any more because the money was to start his own business and that he was a disappointment to me and his daught and would I do him one last favor and raise his daughter as my own. He claimed I would understand in the future and that he loved me. I spoke to him all of 5 minutes that day and never again and that was 12/12/2012. These are his own words.

I went out today in an attempt to get a loan from another loan shark but they all can't seem to give me the assurance i need. I have done everything i can to resolve this situation but all my efforts has been to no avail.




I have given up because i have lost the physical and mental strength to continue this way. I'm a disappointment to myself and i know you and Sofia will be disappointed by my action but all i can say is i'm sorry and i'm sure you will come to understand better in the near future.




My last request to you is to please help me take care of Sofia, you will find a letter that will guide you on how to get money for her tuition, please raise her like you would raise your own child, she has no one else.
