While Checking my account transactions, I noticed this charge from xgamegallery.com in the amount of $10.37 POSTED on 12/12/12. I called their phone number
(559) 481-4292 and spoke with a female names Shelem. She found the transaction and said it was for an xbox controller. I asked her if I could call her back because I thought to double check with my husband to make sure he was positive he did not order this. Then I googled this company, (while I should have done that first) just to find out they have been scamming the country it seems like with little charges hoping no one will notice. I called back a second time and then spoke to a male named Alan. He looked up the transaction and said it was canceled as of 20 minutes earlier. He stated that he had a ship to address, which was my address as well as my husbands name. And the transaction was canceled and placed for refund which should appear within 2-3 business days. I foid this odd since I never requested a refund, I was merely making an inquiry. The female Shelem must have done it out of guilt. I am frantic that they have so much of my information and am canceling our debit cards regardless. I don't know if this has anything with having a Wal-Mart Money card or swiping it at a Redbox. We are thinking someone has placed a card reader on a Redbox swiper. :-( We have had fraudulent charges on our account many times most only PENDING and then fall off. They are also very small amounts such as these and we keep having to cancel our cards and get new ones. :-( I don't want to scare anyone from Redbox this is only a theory we have and are willing to test it by getting a separate money card just for those rentals. I just cant see any other way these people (and so many other scammers) have been getting our card information!!!!! I will be waiting for the refund and will update this complaint if It does appear.
