I just received a reply to my add and wanted to make sure about the veracity of the buyer. I found evidence in scambook.com that this was a fraud and wanted to share this with everyone. Beware of this scam, even though it was pretty easy to spot. This is how I got contacted:
"I just viewed your listed Ad on Craigslist,am James Alex and currently located at Albany GA. i will like to purchase it as birthday present to my Son. I am willing
to offer you the price for it,pls let me know if you accept my offer,payment will be through paypal and the pick up will be arranged and you can set up account with
paypal by log on to www.paypal.com and get your paypal account name and email address for your payment. compliment of the season.Thanks. "
