I went in to the dealership to buy a new car. They offered to buy out my lease (1 month left) and inspected the car which was in perfect condition including new tires. I bought the new car but 2 months later received a notice from Honda finance that I owed them the last months lease payment plus charges for excessive tire wear on the old car. Every month I receive a late payment notice and call Honda Finance, and they say the dealer has not payed the balance. The are now threatening legal action, damage to my credit rating and collection. They also offered me a $100 referral fee (and I did refer a freind who did buy a car)which they refuse to pay
