On April 24, 2013 I replied to an ad placed by Miley Woods in Craigslist (on behalf of my brother) for rental property located at 15500 Wyandotte Street, Van Nuys, California 91406. We have been exchanging emails since 4/24/13 and as recently as 4/30/13. On 4/26/13 I was instructed to send $1000 (security deposit and first month's rent) to Miley Woods' assistant, Elizabeth Thompson, via Western Union. I was suspicious and told Miley Woods that I will only send 1/2 the money and 1/2 upon receipt of the keys. He agreed and I sent $500 on 4/26/13 to Elizabeth Thompson in Davison, Michigan. Mr. Woods has not sent me the keys but he sent me a residential lease which he wanted me to sign and send him more money. At this point, I realized I have been scammed and have not sent him anymore money. His last email to me was demanding more money.
