==============================================

I do not pretend to be incensed by the fact a renegade outfit, would, with knowledge and forthought deliberatly lie. If that seems to be too stong a word, it nevertheless it is truthful statement, (Western Civilization if not in fact then in word, demand the truth from groups, corporations to the man in the street.) The Internet earned its reputation by failing to police itself of slick con artists deliberatley stonewalling complaints then morfing themselves into a company of many names making it tough, in some cases impossible to establish with certainty those responsible.

In this respect, SCAMBOOK and precious few others carry the flag of the consumer and in my opinion deserve an enmormous amount of credit for bearing the costs and labor of many in an effort to help put the slick con artists on the run.

Having been in the newspaper business for 34 years, 15 of those in executive managment, any
newspaper discovered to have deliberately associated itself with sources or promoters, regularly engaging in clearly misleading, false and deceptive practices would be investigated by the Newspaper Association of America and have their creditials as a member of the legitimate press, swiftly revoked, unable to carry the NAA Membership Seal of Legitimacy. Even though the press enjoys the constitutional protections of the first ammendment, it nevertheless it was determined that it would police itself before the government stepped in and totally mucked up the works.

Until similar protections are in place for the Internet, it will remain more than a "Buyer Beware" medium, instead it will become an "Institutional Mafia." Or worse, placed under yet another govermental agency.

If my calculations are even minimally close, 1% of after tax revenue from Google, Microsoft and a hundred others, together with the 1000 search engines should pony-up and give athority to those aready experienced and snagging crooks like SCAMBOOK would provide the teeth necessary for enforcement with enough left over to hire at least a couple of thousand, experienced, Tech savvy "COUNTER HACKERS" to build the technonogy to find a "Worm Writer," "Malware Maggot" and "Trogen Terriorist" within minutes of their letting loose on a billion plus computer users, their crafty art and slam an inpenitrible "fence" then send 440 volts through the lines, cables and airwaves to the device(s) they used to write them making it too expensive for them to continue. From some way and means there must be money involved. First class hackers have to be motivated to put in weeks writing code to put down thousands or more computers. Noteriety and celebrity status is out as a motive. So $$$ is all thats' left.
