I received a call saying I was approved for a loan of $2500 all I had to do was put $235 of a green-dot moneypak they also said this $235 would not be withdrawn it was just for proof. So needless to say I did as instructed & was told the money would be in my bank account within 1 hour. After 2 hours I called them back & they said it was denied due to previous late payments. However, they wanted me to put $357 on a different green-dot moneypak & then I would receive my money. I told them I just wanted my original $235 that they were not suppose to withdraw & they told me it was not possible. I want my money back!!

- honey ur not gonna get it back u were hit by a typical nigerian 419 scam. they are not even in this country so our laws won't touch them either....so just don't give them any more money and don't fall for that again either....almost anytime anyone wants you to send untraceable money via greendot or western union moneygram or any other nontraceable method....it's probably a scam....and anyway no legitimate company will want you to pay for a loan in advance of the loan. costly lesson learned i know....but to be aware that since you fell for it you will likely get hit with more scammers and various scams coming out of the woodwork as they now see you as a good "mugu" (fool) and don't be surprised if you get hit with the recovery scam in which they pretend to be law enforcement promising to get your money back (of course they will want you to send them money first tho) and don't fall for that either cuz you will just lose even more
