Went on Craigslist to purchase an ipad mini from Craigslist (new 64GB wifi 4G) every email I sent was answered until today.When I went on the Parcel friend order tracking section to view the details.Than I noticed that I wasn't able to view shipping details anymore

Thanks for the post on the Mini Ipad. I was interested in a similar one,but the person had a different email and name. Probably part of the scam.
I'm getting back to you about the iPad mini with 64GB I'm selling on Craigslist.
I'm Denise and I'm now in Toronto.
I've attached pictures of my iPad to this email. It's brand new, WIFI + 4G, factory unlocked and under Apple warranty.

I'll have to send it from here. I have found a company called ParcelFriend that will deliver the ipad to you in the US and allow you to check the ipad before I receive the payment. You will be in control of your money and I will be in control of my ipad.
I will use 5 day delivery and I will take care of the shipping fee.
Please have a look at their procedure and we will go from there. -

- Thanks for the post. It really helped me out. I got the text (exact same thing) as Dita did, but it was for Iphone. The price seemed too good to be true. Avoided a scam there.

I also thank you for the post. This is the exact reply I received. What roused my suspicions was that my friend and I had both emailed her and received an identical reply, about Toronto, then next day she re-listed the exact ad with "cash only" at the bottom. Then I started checking. Her name didn't pop but the Parcelfriend did.

- After doing more research, have a tip I found. When not sure about a person, check their email host (this was [email protected]) on a website www.whois.sc When I did this, it showed that this host was actually created on 6/2/2013. The day before they emailed me! Also showed the owner Allen Syms and lists Great Britain as his country.

I am going to share this website with all of my contacts!
Unfortunately I emailed and was interested in the iPad. You get what you pay for.....I only got as far as giving the address to send the item and then decided to look up parcel friend.
I've learned my lesson, too good to be true...probably a scam. Thanks Scambook! -

- same here, beware of denise greenberg. saw her posting on craigslist but it listed in NYC, but she claim she from toronto. Also beware of pacel friend...you have to send to UK via western union...DON'T DO IT! Won't see your product and they will get the money!
