I had brake repairs done on my 1998 Ford Contour at Meineke in Farmington Mo. I paid $74 by debit card and applied for a CareOne Credit card from GE Capital Bank with $400 credit approved. I used the card to pay the rest of my bill. I had to move in June 2011 to Ironton Mo. I called GE Capital Bank to give them the new address and phone number. The payments of $25 were supposed to be made by autopay in my roommate's checking accounting. They received three payments and I never heard from the company. I was not in a position to check online for payments or to check my roommate's bank statements for payments. I would have reset up the autopay if I had known that payments were not being taken out of her account. I am being sued for $325 and $412.06 in interest. I am fighting this lawsuit on July 10th.
