TV ad for Sidesocket.com offers their product for $10.00 + $7.95 S&H with second item for free + $7.95 S&H, total of $25.90. I put in an order for two, but their website does not ask for you to confirm the total amount but instead shows you how much you were charged after submitting the order. I was charged $80.68 which included a $47.70 "processing charge"??? I called them right away and they said they didn't have the information yet (on a Friday). Called them Saturday and were closed. Called them Monday morning and said it was too late to cancel, the order had been processed. I got pissed and called American Express and were more than helpful with not paying these thieves and with imposing a dispute on my behalf. If you want to buy one of their products (they sell lots of different things), BUY THEM ON AMAZON!

My experience was similar. I ordered 4 SS and 1 Deluxe SS, which totaled $147.00. What really threw me over the edge was S&P was almost $80 dollars for a grand total of $244.62. I placed the order Sunday late night around 11pm. I noticed no option to summarize the order prior to submitting. I called the company after an exhausting search to find the company phone number at 9am the next Monday morning to cancel the order. Contact information should have been on the site. In any case, I had no problems, although the woman on the phone was quite rude explaining why S&P was so costly. I did forget to ask for a confirmation email. I will never order anything without an order summery ever again! Never order anything without contact information clearly visible. I did find Side Sockets on Amazon, but they were not in stock. The good news is that I stopped the transaction and I did not have to contact my credit card issuer to file a complaint (so far anyway).
