On Sept. 26 my mother-in-law ordered carpeting from Home Depot. They called her on Oct. 4 and asked if it would be okay to install it on Oct. 6 between 2:00 & 4:00. She said yes. Family members removed everything so that they could do it. No one showed up. It was rescheduled. She waited and asked about it. She called to complain, and Home Depot put the blame on the installers.When she called again, they said that it was special order carpet (which was never mentioned before), and it wouldn't be in until Nov. 10. It has been less than five months since my mother-in-law lost her spouse. She does not need this garbage.
