I purchased a new Dell laptop, and when I had a problem with the touchpad, the Dell rep transferred me to another number which turned out to be TechZilla. The Techzilla rep never identified himself as anyone other than Dell Support. He did say they could not resolve the issue, because I had not purchased the support package. I paid an additional $249.99 for this package. I found out later, through Dell Support that Techzilla was not part of Dell. I called Techzilla and asked for a refund. The Billing supervisor told me that they would have to withhold $50 from the refund, because I had indeed used one of their support people. We had a long discussion about fraud. I now have an email confirmation that the entire amount will be refunded, but we've called the credit card company to cancel it, too. We'll see if Techzilla comes through with the entire $250.
