I recently tried to upgrade my spotify free trial account to spotify premium but ended up falling into a scam instead. I read somewhere that I could get premium subscription for 12.95 a year in a locked in 3 year subscription. Didn't really think too much into how fraudulant it sounded but the website (which is mysteriously out of my history now) looked very legit and even linked to downloaded spotify (ad free).
After 2 days, my account went from premium to the free trial and then it disappeared.
After contacting the support team at spotify, we clarified that I had indeed been scammed and that there is nothing they could do about it!
