I received a phone call from an agent named Keith Simmons who said I was approved for a credit card with a $5,000 limit. I was extrememly hesitant based on my credit history. I asked was it a card that can be used anywhere; or more like an online shopping only type of credit card. Simmons reply was it could be used for anything, gas, groceries, etc. I asked him for a website to look at as a reference before I agreed to anything. Simmons proceeded to state he can deduct the $99 from my account on 10/12. I told him I'm not okay with that, I want to look into the card details first, and my payday wasn't until 10/21 anyway. He said that was fine & we hung up. Being I never communicated my banking info with him, I didn't think I had anything to worry about. On 10/12, $99 was deducted from my account! From that day forward I have been calling the company (877-536-0076) only to be looped in an endless cycle. When someone does finally answer, they're either placing you on hold for several minitues at a time, or hanging up in your face. When I finally got a rep I was told I had to wait 24 hours for a call back while they research my call to see if I'm entitled to a refund. They never called back. I finall got in touch with someone two days later, they said they'd call me back in an hour to inform me of my refund status (if any at all) due to my recorded call now beign in the system. They never called back. I continued to call back numerously (over 57 times in one day) only to be constantly hung up on. My bank has closed my account entirely to avoid any further withdrawls as well as opened a fraud case against the company. If I do get a refund, it will definitely be because of my bank; because dealing with that company solely delievers nothing but frustration & aggravation.
