Advertised through Womens Freebies, in August 2013, Flawless Effect serum, a fee of £4.95 (GBP) was requested and paid. I received a small pot of the serum and £4.95 was deducted from my bank account. On 16 September 2013, the same company took £98.37 (GBP) from my account without authorisation. I have reported this to my bank but will not recover my money because this company only have bank records no other means of contact. I also contacted Womens Freebies as the advertising medium who allege thay have never advertised this product and that I must have "accidently" clicked into GOOGLE. Both of these companies are obviously a scam. DO NOT TRUST THEM

The same thing has happened to me. I looked at my bank statement yesterday to find that £98.37 had been taken by my account from Flawless Effect, was in complete shock as i didn't sign up for anything! Like you i paid the one-off fee of £4.95 for the sample, there was no confirmation from this company that i would be charged anything additional, so am absolutely seething with anger! How can they do this to people? I won't be letting this go, i have called Citizens Advice Bureau to investigate further and will be sending all supporting documents to Barclays Fraud team. This company must be closed down immediately, not to mention fined a hefty sum, or at least what they owe back to innocent victims they have conned. I called Flawless Effect's customer service team yesterday and they said as they hadn't heard back from me after 15 days they 'assumed' i wanted to keep the product and subsequently happy with being charged the full amount of £98.37. What?! They are on another planet it seems. After much arguing down the phone they agreed to refund me half the amount, when i received confirmation email of that they said they would be refunding me $49.. but i paid in £s! None of it is genuine!! -
