This company is a scam. I applied for a $5000 loan online with CashNet.com. I was told I was approved for the full amount. I spoke with a guy name Zac, with Indian accent. He seemed like he cared and really wanted to get this loan approved. He put me on hold and sounded just like an expert, saying I was declined due to poor credit and he was able to see I had a negative balance on my account. (On the online application, your SS#, bank account is provided). He made it believable. He said there was a second option of another loan process and that would be purchasing a Vanilla Green Dot card. He told me to load $275 to show I had a balance and my $5000 would be approved. So I did. He asked me to scratch the numbers on the back, I did and gave it to him. He called back with a "Loan number" and he said his account manager would be depositing money into account. It would take 2-3 hours for approval. Money was never deposited. I knew I was scammed. Expensive Lesson learn, thank goodness it was not anything more. Please beware of this company. I wish I would have read the reviews first.
