Guy named David Gonzales called and said he had talked to "The Owner" using the wrong name. He said she had called him last week on a "mobile" phone and she had requested we cancel our ad. He kept asing me questions to which the answer was "yes" and I kept answering with a full sentence. Was almost a gmae by the time he was done with me. My boss had NOT talked to anyone and he would have known if it was here he had talked to. She has a definite phone personality! He wanted my "yes" and to send us the bill for last year $649.99, and if I did not say "yes" we would be billed for this year. I explained nicely that they had our address, mail it and we will send it back. Then I hung up.
A supervisor named Nicholas, then called (REALLY!?!) and tried the same thing. I quickly (somewhat) politely repeated what I said to David and hung up. They were very persistant, trying to get me to be recorded saying "yes". Was almost fun.... except I realize someone else would have gotten caught up in it. Rotten!!
