Was asked to complete a survey and told I would have a choice of some free prizes. I chose the Lorelia skin care product. I was asked to pay for shipping only of $5.99 usd. Paid with my credit card online. The product came about 5 days later. Two weeks after that there was a charge on my credit card for $105.00 usd. Called Lorelia and they said I agreed to pay the full amount for the product if I hadn't returned it to them within 14 days. I cannot believe that companies are still allowed to operate in this scam fashion.
I have reported them to my credit card company, posted on facebook and am trying to get an RMA number to return the product within 30 days which according to their return policy I should be able to do. Also when I called the loser customer service guy told me he could offer me a 25% credit for my purchase and after a bit more yelling he thought he might be able to authorize a credit of 50%. I think he should go to jail.
