I ordered two pairs of wrestling boots; two sets of headgear and 2 singlets + some miscellaneous items. Within a few days I received a call informing me the wrestling boots I ordered were no longer available but would be upgraded at no cost to a current model; although not the latest model and I would receive a special gift (we did not need the latest version as the boys are growing; a pair per year!).
When my AmEx billing came; I saw the boots were about $15 more each and shipping was significantly more. As we live in Canada; selection is limited so I shrugged my shoulders about this.
After 6 weeks; nothing arrived. I phoned and a young person told me it was only himself answering the phone and that it was a family business (fair enough). I was told I would be called back. A couple weeks later; nothing; no call; nor order received.
By August; I called AmEx. I received a letter from AmEx in September advising that AmEx had not been able to contact this company either and my billing was reversed.
I coach a team and have cautioned everyone from ordering from this Firm; in writing.
