I signed up for a beginners biblical hebrew course and a beginners modern hebrew course for an outrageous $1500. When the modern course was about to start, I was informed that it was level 2 of the modern hebrew. Concerned, I contacted eteacher and the counselor assured me that i would be ok. When the class started, I was lost! the instructor spoke no english and the lesson was way over my head. I contacted eteacher again about their mix up and they froze the course. Now that I'm finally finished with the first Biblical hebrew course, I've found that the teaching method and learning environment are not working for me, so I called and requested a refund for the course I didnt take. They say because it was started and frozen, there is no refund. They can sign me up for another class or cancel the original class for a fee equal to the amount I paid for the course: $500! I asked to speak with the supervisor and was told both that there was no supervisor and that she was the supervisor. She was abrupt, rude, and unprofessional and she hung up the phone on me. I am very dissatisfied with my experience with eTeacher.
