I found this company online and ordered a brochure and later received a call advising that a salesman will come to my house wih brochure. He came and advised was going to measure up the kitchen. We said that we only wanted to see the brochure. He advised that he visits to take orders and that if we wanted a good price then we should order it with him. He said he will give a quote and we can then decide.
He gave a quote of £1,100 which we were impressed with but said we would have to pay £100 cash deposit upfront and then cash once the items were delievered.
We asked how much it would cost for a fitter from their company and he said it would be expensive with their company and to find a local builder. We were impressed with his honesty --- however this was probably just a cover up!
The items arrved and my local builder checked in the items and we paid. However when it came to opening the boxes we found some damaged panels and difference in color on some panels.
We rang the company a number of times and they would put us through to the custome service team, when finally some one would pick up but not when we advised the problem would hang up!! This became increasing frustrating and we had no kitchen for a number if days.
We went out and bought another kitchen and fitted it from a different company. Wrote a letter of complaint to the company on advise from the CAB. They did not reply within 14days and so we pursued the matter with the BCC Trading team. However, I did later get a call advising they would not refund me as I did not give them a chance to resolve the issue even though I said we called numerous times they said we don't have any record of that!!!!
I told them to put it in writing but they never did. Anyway the BCC Trading Team had no luck either with them and advised to pursue through the Small Claims Court, which is what I know intend to do.
The company is so unprofessional that they person you speak to does not give their name!
