I received a solicitation in the mail offering an 8 day 7 night cruise if I called a toll free number. I called the number and was told to claim my cruises I would have to attend a 90 minute presentation by Grand Travel Worldwide at a Spokane hotel on Saturday Nov 23. I was told this was a legitimate offer and the presentation was not about timeshares. The company simply wanted a opportunity to offer my wife and I our next vacation and would not pressure us to buy anything. We made an appointment, went to the hotel, and signed in a few minutes early. At 2:00 a representative of the travel company came out and called several other couples into the meeting room. We were the last couple called and the representative told us the meeting was full and we did not need to attend. He gave us a generic voucher for the cruises and two round trip airline tickets between any two major cities in the US. We read the fine print on the vouchers and saw that they were for a different cruise line than the mailing and require a $98 activation fee. The voucher was issued by Orbital Promotions. The representative said more information on the cruises and airline tickets was on company website. I checked the website and found nothing on the cruises or airline tickets. There had been 49 recent complaints against the company. Has anybody had a good experience and gotten what was promised?
