A couple of months ago, a woman came to my door wanting to make sure I was getting the discount I was supposed to be getting. My mother was there at the time, so she wanted to speak with her too. We had both recently signed up with an energy company, so we didn't think much about it.
This woman changed our service to Clearview without asking, or telling us she was doing so. She never asked us to sign any documentation.
When I found out, I contacted the company I had been with previously, and switched back.
My mother got a letter from Clearview saying she owed for early termination. My mother didn't terminate, I did. We have separate accounts, so how they come up with this is beyond me.
This company is a scam as far as I'm concerned. They signed us to their company without consent, or signature, then when I canceled, they billed my mother.
