I went to shop at IKEA to purchase a full computer desk, chair and accessories for my child. The reason I was able to purchase was because I had a family and friends coupon for 15%. Again when you shop at ikea on your way out you always purchase more then planned. Spent a huge amount of time because these were items which were no longer available. Because of this while committing we forgot to give the discount coupon at time of purchase. I only realized when the cashier gave the the receipt. The Cashier told me that it was too late to apply the coupon. I was told to speak to the manager. Manager told me that the coupon could not be applied but I could return the merchandise and go back to the start pick up the items and try again. Wow what service. Could not have satisfied a customer by applying the coupon afterwards but instructed that a client start from scratch. Lost interest in this furniture company. Never going back there again.
