I found 2 returned item transactions $36.00 each) on a new checking account I opened. I contacted a customer representative from my bank that informed me of the multiple $87.00 charges on my acct from saving makes money and have no idea how it got there or who the merchant was. I submitted a transaction dispute with my bank & placed a stop payment to avoid being charged the overdraft / return item fee from re-occuring. Tried calling customer service, but kept getting a voice mail.

- Happened to me too Gloria. The $87 hit my account today along with $108 in overdraft charges from Savings Makes Money. I've called the bank who has started a Fraud Investigation. It will take a few days to get this removed and have the charges put back into my account; meanwhile I now have to make a trip up to the bank, close out the account and reopen a new account to avoid this from occuring again as these people will do it again obviously because they can. I went on their website (www.savingmakesmoney.com and see where they charge a one time fee of $87 and then another $19.95 a month membership fee!!!! So yeah, you need to get away from it now. I too tried to contact someone in "customer support" but they are conveniently closed today and tomorrow for New Year's. Just another scam if you ask me. Oh and like you, I did not ask for this membership and n ever did talk to these people in the first place!

- $87 charge thru electronic checking. I didn't even know the merchant f...rs.im pissed. Thats a ripoff. Mary if thats your real name, im gonna get my money back with no problem but how u gonna get out of prison. Its not worth $87 u took from me & others.Saving makes money but stealing get u in prison.
