I received a pop up email message from "Mystery Shopper" while visiting the Career Builder website yesterday stating that I would return to the Career Builder website when I completed the information and I did. Today, I received an email from "[email protected]". However, when I tried to click on the address line, it did not respond, so I could not get any additional information. My first flag went up. The email message stated the following: " Good day to you and how are you? I want to quickly remind you of your first assignment in your area our Mystery Shopper/Survey Agent. This is the Legitimate Mystery Shopper and This is our end of the year offer, you will benefit more for diligent service enjoying what the state have for you. I hope you will be prepared to carry out your first assignment this week? You will be mailed the necessary funds needed for you to carry out your first assignment evaluation..."

Looking at all of the errors in this message, I realized this...no professional individual would send this message out. I sent my name, address and email address yesterday. I did not have enough information to research the company, but I should have researched "mystery shoppers scams" and I would have discovered the fact that you don't receive email messages asking you to be a mystery shopper. I am happy that I followed my hunch and researched it after receiving the follow up message.
