I was looking for a book that I could not find in any local bookstores and was not available for my Kindle. I was directed to a website, playbliz.net, which offered downloads of books, games, movies, music, et cetera. Before I could even search for the book I was looking for, I had to create a "free" account with them. In creating this "free" account I could do a free 5-day trial. They asked for my debit or credit card information so I could easily purchase something in the future. They then said that to verify things they would debit $0.01 to my account and immediately refund it. Needless to say, I was stupid enough to give them my debit card information. Also, after creating the account I found out they didn't have the book I was looking for. I then cancelled the account...so I thought...about two weeks later (today) I logged into my bank account to find there had been a charge of $34.95 to PLAYBLITZ NET 18777470005. I was clueless having forgotten about this ordeal. I went back through to see they had charged me $34.95, $0.35, $2.95, $1.00, $0.03, and $0.01 randomly from 1-3-2014 to 1-22-2014. So, I went to the website to see if I could cancel there, although I thought I already had, only to find out they charge you to cancel your account. Therefore, I did some research and found many others who have been scammed by this company. Apparently, if your read the fine print you find out the details. So, I called my bank and asked to order a new debit card. I didn't bother to dispute the charges. I then called the company and got an automated message stating "To Cancel Press 1" I pressed 1 and it immediately asked for my debit card information so I pressed 0 to talk to a person. After someone answered I let them get "Hello" out and I just said "I am calling to cancel my account, and I WILL NOT give you a debit or credit card number, and I refuse to pay to have my account cancelled!" They then asked for my e-mail address and cancelled my account immediately and sent a account cancellation confirmation e-mail.

  • I tried to cancel my account at scambook.com b/c I didn't know I needed to be charged every month 9.99usd. I have been paying so far 1 year without knowing that membership fee. I tried to cancel my account not to be charged for this month. but [email protected],neither [email protected] came back "Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently".

    I don't know where to contact and it's charged 9.99usd this month as well.

    I came here to complain of 350.00usd and without any efforts, I paid here 100.00usd.

    please cancel my account and refund 9.99usd for this month due to " Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently"
    I was failed to send a request many times last month.

    please help me!! how can i cancel my monthly fee?
