My fiancé and i were applying for some loans online. He started receiving calls and they asked for some money for insurance purposes so that we can get the money directly deposited to his account. However, this was a scam. We never received any money. We talked to several people about the loan and most of them barely speak English. They then started harassing me trying to get me to get a loan for them and I told them no. I don't want a loan but they keep calling and keep calling. Yesterday they called me and said that I owed them for money on a loan and that I was going to go to jail! They gave me my street address and my work place and said that I'd be arrested this morning at either of these locations. But when I told them I never got a loan and I was going to go to the police they said that they were going to arrest me. I said "well, I'm going right now!" And they hung up on me. I checked my bank account today and I seen this $87 charge and I had to look it up because I have no idea what it's about! I reported a fraud alert to transunion, equifax, and experian this morning. Today I'm going to talk to my bank. And I'm going to call this website because in order to cancel I need a membership # which I never received because I never applied for it! I can't believe they have scammed so many people out of money!
