On or about 7/12/2011 I made a call to Watchbrokers.com in Atlanta, Ga. in regards to a rolex watch I wanted to sell. I found their phone no. on-line, Sounded promising. What I got was a recorded message to leave my phone no. Name, and a brief message, and that they would get back to me because the rep was either away from his desk or on the other line. I left my message detailing my watch and received a call back later that day from Albert Gentilini, He asked me all about the watch, how i obtained it and wanted to know the serial no. He said they would not except a watch unless it would bring at least 1500.00 u.s. dollars. He said my watch qualified and that he would be able to sell it quickly.I mailed the watch to the address they gave me in Atlanta Ga. (3073 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, Ga 30305) They supplied the shipping label over the internet which I copied, I wrapped the watch per the instructions. They also supplied an insurance declaration to cover the watch in case it got lost. After appr. 3 weeks I made a call to get an update on the watch, He (Albert Gentilibi) referred me to Eric Toso, Mind you it took me about 25 calls before they would answer the phone. Eric Toso said he was in charge of sales, He told me my watch had just sold and that they would send me my money right after they turned it into finance. Since then I have been placing calls only to get an answering machine. Finally one day I called and a guy by the name of Matt Mason. I explained the whole story to him and he told me that Eric Toso(and these are his words) lied to me and didn't have the authority to give me any information except the selling of my watch. He told me 3 times that Eric Toso lied to me. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It started to appear to me I had been scammed. I still call to no avail, They won't answer the phone and I keep leaving messages and they won't return them. The first time I spoke with Eric Toso he told me my watch had sold for 1600.00 dollars and that after repairs that I agreed to it would leave me a balance of 872.00 dollars. I would like to have my watched returned to me at no cost or a settlement for 1600.00 for what the watch sold for because of the troubles I have gone through, I also sent a letter to BBB, They responded on 10/24/2011 and told me they could not get watchbrokers to respond to the first case letter they were sent and were going to try a second time and let me know the results. The Governors office of Consumer affairs has also got my letter and said it would take them about 6 weeks to inveatigate, I hope that you will be able to help in this matter, I sincerely thank you for your time, Joe Gardbner.
