Company posed on freebie website where firms request women trial new products for free or small fee. They offered to send free face cream requesting only £4.99 for cost of postage. There was no mention of further conditions/fees applying. I got a tiny bottle of face cream and several weeks later over £100 was taken from my bank account. When I checked out their website there was mention of joining some sort of scheme for regular monthly payments, not only had they taken this fee without further mention, but they'd taken it in US dollars instead of pounds sterling ie nearly £40 more than they should have taken. My bank have put a stop against any further payments being taken by these rogue traders and I have reported them to the UK Trading Standards authority.
