I became a client with Paradise Rentals back in October, 2013.I was required to submit a $150.00 deposit, which a percentage was to be used toward acquiring my new place of residence. I was provided with a small list of potential residences to contact. Not one single listing on the list I received, was of any legitimacy what so ever. Either the places I went to weren't renting, in very poor condition or literally didn't exist at all. One address I drove to and I double, triple and quadruple checked my information, was nothing more than a hole in the ground covered my a man hole cover,
I immediately contacted Paradise to inform them that the listings they provided weren't any good and to ask for more. The reaction I received from Paradise was not in any way helpful and literally hostile.
I've never experienced behavior like this from a company who's whole foundation is that of Customer Service. I've never experienced anything like that ever in my entire life as a consumer.
Paradise also denied me my $150.00 deposit, stating that they provided me with satisfactory services rendered, which couldn't be any further from the truth.
Paradise Rentals are not only conducting very poor business, they're also engaging in criminal activity, by knowingly and willingly providing their clients, myself included with useless and fraudulent materials. Not only should Paradise Rentals be shut down, they should also be brought up on criminal charges.
