As I am finding out from other reviews. I ran a "free" download, went to purchase a simple 30.00 program, was convinced I had such issues it would be better to purchase a service for 3 computers. Got the first computer service done went to go on the internet, and what happened, exactly what had been happening. Did they clear some bad boys yes, BY downloading another company's software trail version IN MY NAME! without my consent... yet the computer still has the same pop-up and redirecting of internet searches as it has to begin with. Back on the phone 25 minute hold, talk to them again, tech supposed to be right on, 45 minutes later they still are not on and I am on hold right now for the third call at 14 minutes and counting. Phone was answered, explained AGAIN what the problem was. took another hour and a half. watched everything they did again, still had malware, they never ran virus scan, and ignored the ones that came up in the malware run. I want my money back! STAY AWAY from these people.

Also when you take your computer to get cleaned no matter where big box retail chains or small computer shops they will download tools developed by other companies that specialize in cleaning malware. This is standard procedure and is normal.
