Upon looking for information on my home I stumbled across housereports.org. I thought I was making a ONE TIME purchase for $1.20 to get ONE report on my home. I then checked my credit card statement to see that two charges were taken from my credit card. One for $17.49 and the other for $.95. Neither of the charges made sense with the $1.20 fee I thought I was being charged. And I received no report or email. It took half the day trying to contact someone on their customer service number. I did finally get in touch with someone though. And when I did finally talk to someone all I heard was roosters & chickens in the background. NO LIE! Which was a red flag to me that this just is not right. It told me that it was probably some farm wife trying to make extra cash, SCAM! The gal did refund my money to my card. But not until I told her I was going to file a dispute with my credit card company, and also told her that I was not reading very good reviews of her business. She was kinda rude in the sense that after she said my card would be refunded she just hung up on me and I was not finished talking. The money was immediately in my account, which I am thankful for. If I had not done anything about this I am sure that there would have been a monthly charge of $17.49 to my card. Anyone who has dealt with these people, BE CAREFUL and watch your statements to make sure they are not charging $17.49 every month. I myself changed my credit card just to be safe.
